Dorothy is a qualified Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with the internationally recognized professional body; Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She has extensive investigative project management experience. Her 21 years of Forensic Investigation experience was obtained from organizations such as the Special Investigating Unit, Rand Water Board, MTN, City of Joburg and Eskom. Dorothy Mmushi has executed Forensic Investigation projects in Botswana at Botswana Unified Revenue Services (BURS). She also has mining investigative experience obtained at Glencore Kamoto Copper Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is passionate about corporate governance and the investigation of fraud. She has developed anti-fraud policies and procedures for various organizations. She has also been called on various platforms to speak as an expert on white collar crime.

He has gained extensive experience in managing and leading operations, investigations and reporting to board level whilst developing policies, strategies and standard operating practices in accordance with legal and ethical requirements. He has worked in audit firms including a big 4 audit firm, a key state-owned enterprise and the largest private Healthcare Group in the country.

He has experience in conducting investigations of fraud and corruption into Procurement Fraud, Corruption and PFMA transgressions within SOE’s and Municipalities in South Africa. He has investigative experience across South African borders obtained from projects at Botswana Unified Revenue Services and in Mining at Glencore Kamoto Copper Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
